Ollie Teeba (Ninja Tunes) knows da funk!

Not really breaks-related but worth a note since it was a VERY nice surprise on 27th of November to find Ollie Teeba (Ninja Tunes) from the Herbaliser crew playing and scratching finest funky tunes in a small bar called "pop up bar" in Lisbon (Portugal).



This guy knows how to select and mix funky stuff, believe you me! There was also some hip hop involved however I am not really qualified to state any comments on that.

If you ever come across a set of this guy, beg him to play his insane scratch-version of "Apache"..!

Boom-tish.

I have just received the info that I will play my very last gig in 2004 on the 30th of December at Lounge, Lisbon.

For sure I'll have some new tunes ready then as I will be just return from Germany the day before. And hey: they sell nice breaks records there which they don't in Portugal...
